The NGSU National Conference is held every two years. Conference decides the actions that you, the membership, want the Union to take over the next two year period.
All members have the right to raise motions for discussion at Conference. Motions are submitted via the National Area Councils and National Executive Committee. Each National Area sends delegates to Conference to debate and vote on the motions. If the majority of deleagtes vote in favour of the motion, it becomes Union policy which the NEC will seek to resolve by discussion with Nationwide.
